Cats are not afraid of cucumbers.

The reason why the saying "cats are afraid of cucumbers" appears:

1. Cats can only recognize a few colors and are very sensitive to green and yellow objects.

2. Cats are easily frightened when they are in a relaxed state. Whether it is a cat or a human, they will be frightened if an object suddenly appears in front of them when they are in a relaxed state, not to mention green objects to which cats are sensitive.

3. Because the color and lines of cucumbers are similar to those of snakes, cats will mistake cucumbers for snakes and fear being attacked by them, so they react in fear.

Things to note when feeding cats:

1. Feed cats at regular times and places. Cats do not like to eat in strong light or noisy environments. When guests come to visit, do not let them watch the cat while it is eating, otherwise it will greatly reduce the cat's appetite. Once the cat's biological clock for "eating" is formed, it is relatively fixed and should not be changed at will.

2. The cat's food tray should be used in a fixed manner and should not be changed casually. You can put newspaper or plastic paper under the food tray to prevent the food tray from making noise when sliding, and it is also easy to clean. The cat's leftover food should be collected or thrown away, and mixed with fresh food and cooked before feeding the cat next time.

3. Cats like to eat warm food. Cold food can easily cause digestive disorders and affect their appetite. Generally, food taken out of the refrigerator should be heated before feeding. The temperature of the food should be 30-40℃.

4. Cats have the bad habit of taking food outside the food bowl to eat or using their claws to hook food. Once you discover this, you must immediately train them to correct it.
