CATDOLL : Why don't cats like the taste of oranges?

Cats don't like the smell of oranges because oranges contain orange peel essential oil, which is a volatile aromatic hydrocarbon with a strong odor. Cats have a more sensitive sense of smell than humans, and are even more sensitive to pungent smells. The pungent smell of oranges will make cats uncomfortable. If cats accidentally smell the smell of oranges, they will immediately step back as if they were electrocuted, wrinkle their noses and pout, and show a disgusted expression, or even retch.

Things cats hate:

1. Camphor balls. Camphor is toxic to cats and can cause acute camphor oil poisoning and even death. Cats also hate the strong smell of camphor balls.

2. Sour things, like vinegar, lemon, etc. Every time a cat smells something sour, it will feel like there is something in its nose and feel uncomfortable.

3. Cat litter boxes that are not cleaned in time. Cats have very high requirements for themselves and the surrounding environment. If they are not cleaned in time, some cats will dislike the litter box being too dirty and will not bury their feces, or simply will not enter the litter box and urinate and defecate anywhere.

4. Garlic smell. Garlic is a forbidden food for cats, and the smell of garlic is also unpleasant to cats because garlic contains sulfur compounds that produce a pungent and irritating smell, so cats hate the smell of garlic.
