Alligator turtles grow fast, with a meat yield rate of over 85%. The meat of alligator turtles is delicate and delicious. It is a high-quality natural health product with high protein, high amino acids, low cholesterol and low calories. Alligator turtles are edible, ornamental and medicinal, and their economic value greatly exceeds that of other turtles. Therefore, the alligator turtle is recommended by the Ministry of Agriculture as a new breeding variety introduced from abroad for promotion. It can be predicted that alligator snapping turtle will be a hot spot for turtle breeding in my country in the 21st century.
