CATDOLL: What are the methods for catching river shrimp?

(1) Fishing season: The first season starts in mid-April and ends in mid-to-late May. The second season starts in early August and ends in late September.

(2) Fishing tools Fishing tools are mainly ground traps. The mesh size of the ground trap should be 2.5-3.0cm to ensure that adult shrimps are caught and young shrimps can escape through the mesh. The size of adult shrimps should be controlled to be above 30g.

(3) Fishing method In the shrimp-rice farming model, the time of catching adult shrimp is very critical. In order to extend the growth time of crayfish, increase the size of crayfish, and improve the quality of crayfish products, it is generally required to start catching after the crayfish reach the optimal size.

(4) Catching method: Use a large-mouth ground cage with a mesh size of 2.5-3.0 cm. When starting to catch, there is no need to drain the water. Place the shrimp cage directly in the rice field and shrimp ditch. Change the location every few days. When the catch gradually decreases, drain the water in the rice field to let the crayfish fall into the shrimp ditch. Then put the cages in the shrimp ditch until no more commercial crayfish can be caught. When collecting the shrimp cages, the captured crayfish should be selected, and the crayfish that meet the commercial specifications should be picked out. The young shrimp should be put into the rice field immediately, and the young shrimp should not be squeezed to avoid injuring the shrimp body.

Hello

The meat of river shrimp is rich in nutrition, delicious and tender, and is a delicacy coveted by many powerful enemies in the water. Therefore, river shrimp like to live in waters with lush aquatic plants. The Wumu Reservoir has a large storage capacity and small water level changes in four seasons. It is particularly suitable for the growth of a kind of aquatic plants with lavender slender rhizomes and a circle of needle-shaped leaves densely grown every other section on the stem. The shape is very beautiful. This aquatic plant has different names in different places. Because people who raise goldfish like to use it to decorate the fish tank, the locals call it snapdragon. This grass is suitable for the growth of many aquatic organisms and insects. It has rich food that river shrimp likes and makes river shrimp feel very safe. Therefore, the family of river shrimp is very prosperous here.

The tools for catching river shrimps are not complicated: use bamboo or iron wire to make a cross-shaped support, and use a piece of ordinary gauze as a net. Use a strong rope, tie a floating object such as a piece of wood or bamboo tube on one end, and tie the other end to the support. Put a heavy object such as a stone in the net to prevent the shrimp net from turning over in the water, otherwise the shrimp will escape. Then put food to attract shrimps, and the shrimp net is ready. River shrimps have a lot of food, they like to eat snail meat, pork, small fish meat, chicken and duck intestines, etc., but they like sheep bones with a strong fishy smell the most. Put the shrimp net with sheep bones as close to the snapdragon as possible and gently put it down. Every once in a while, use a hook to hook the floating object on the shrimp net, and gently lift it up, and there will be more than ten or twenty big river shrimps jumping happily in the net. Catching river shrimps does not require any skills or effort. It is always easy to catch them at the reservoir, so men generally disdain to fish for shrimps. Only women and children are interested in catching river shrimps. With this simple shrimp net, you can catch five or six kilograms in half a day.
