How to raise newly hatched turtledoves?

When the chicks are just hatched, they should be kept warm and given drinking water in time. Use a 20,000th concentration of potassium permanganate solution as drinking water and change it every 4 hours.

Generally, chicks will start looking for food 6 to 8 hours after hatching. It is best to choose small, easily digestible food such as millet or broken rice. You can also use chick pellet feed. After one week, 20% of plants such as barnyard grass and rice can be added to the feed.

Due to the high density of artificial breeding, turtledoves are susceptible to diseases, so the cages should be cleaned regularly, disinfected regularly, feces cleaned up in time, and epidemic prevention should be carried out regularly. Sick birds should be isolated and treated, dead birds should be buried or burned, and all birds in the cages should be disinfected.
