The fastest recipe for chickens to lay eggs

The nutrition for chickens at different growth stages is also different, and the egg-laying feed should be changed in time during the peak egg-laying period. In order to adapt to the increase in weight of laying hens, the growth of the reproductive system and the demand for calcium, you can start feeding laying hens with egg-laying feed at 18 weeks of age, and feed them at the peak of egg-laying period from 20 weeks of age. The feed for laying hens needs to contain a certain proportion of nutrients such as protein, carbohydrates, fat, vitamins and minerals. Here are a few methods to see how effective they are.

1. Hunger farming

In the first month of the laying period of hens, the feed should be gradually reduced every week, and then the feed amount should be controlled within 20% of the normal food intake, and the hens should mainly drink water. After one month, the feed can be gradually increased, and the starvation breeding method can generally increase the egg production of hens by about 30%.

2. Cut the chicken yellow

There is a small yellow dot on the lower third of the chicken's back. If the hen does not lay eggs, you can use scissors to cut off the small yellow dot. The hen will be guaranteed to start laying eggs obediently. Cut it once every month. This not only solves the problem of the hen not laying eggs, but also ensures the health of the eggs.

3. Add soil

Adding 3-5% bentonite to the daily diet of laying hens can increase their feed intake and egg production. In order to increase the egg production of hens, vitamin C can also be added to the feed, adding 50g of vitamin C per ton of feed. You can also add 1% red pepper powder to the chicken feed and add a little vegetable oil to increase the egg production rate of hens by 8%.
