CATDOLL: How many fish can be raised in one acre of water in a reservoir? What are the breeding modes?

One mu of water in a reservoir can raise 2,000 fish. Unlike fish ponds, the water in a reservoir is deeper, so more fish can be raised. However, not all fish can be raised in this way. The number of fish raised varies according to the different breeding modes. Usually, if you mainly raise crucian carp, you can raise more. If you mainly raise carp, grass carp, bighead carp, etc., you will not be able to raise so many.

1. How many fish can be raised in one mu of water surface of a reservoir? One mu of water surface of a reservoir can raise 2,000 fish. Unlike fish ponds, the water in a reservoir is deeper, so more fish can be raised. However, not all fish can be raised in such a large number. Depending on the different breeding modes, the number of fish raised also varies. Usually, if you mainly raise crucian carp, you can raise more. If you mainly raise carp, grass carp, bighead carp, etc., you will not be able to raise so many.

2. What are the integrated farming modes? 1. Carp-based: There are many integrated farming methods with carp as the main focus. If the yield per mu is 700 catties, 300 carps, 80 silver carps and 20 bighead carps can be raised. If the yield per mu is 1,000 catties, 448 carps, 84 silver carps and 28 bighead carps can be raised. If the yield per mu is 1,500 catties, 672 carps, 126 silver carps and 42 bighead carps can be raised.

2. Grass carp as the main breeding method: In the suite method with grass carp as the main breeding method, 600 grass carps can be raised per acre, along with 250 silver carp and bighead carp.

3. Mainly raise bighead carp: If the main fish is bighead carp, 1,000 fish fry can be released per acre. Grass carp and carp cannot be released, otherwise they will compete with them for food. Only 150 silver carp and 50 bighead carp can be released from the pond. Each fish weighs 500 grams and can be taken out of the pond.

4. Mainly with crucian carp: If crucian carp is the main fish, 1500-2000 fish fry can be raised per acre, and 200 silver carp fry and 50 bighead carp fry can also be added. You can even raise some carnivorous fish to control the reproduction of crucian carp.
