CATDOLL : Should cats eat whole eggs or egg yolks?

Cats can eat whole eggs, but it is recommended to feed mainly egg yolks, and occasionally feed a small amount of egg whites. The egg yolk is the most nutritious part of the egg, containing high-quality protein, vitamins, minerals and taurine, which is very beneficial to the health of cats.

Although egg whites also contain a certain amount of protein, the avidin in raw egg whites may affect the cat's absorption of vitamin B7 (biotin), leading to health problems. Therefore, it is recommended to only feed cats cooked egg whites and not overfeed.
