CATDOLL : Cat always goes to the litter box

There are three possible reasons why cats always go to the litter box:

1. The cat’s water intake has increased recently or it has frequent urination due to pregnancy.

2. Cats suffer from urinary system diseases that cause them to have symptoms of frequent urination and incomplete urination.

3. Gastrointestinal diseases cause constipation or diarrhea in cats. It is recommended that owners pay attention to the cat's urination and defecation. If there is any abnormality, take the cat to the pet hospital for examination and treatment in time.

There are two ways to prevent urinary tract or kidney problems in cats:

1. Keep the cat and its living area clean. If the cat's living environment is noisy and the environment is not hygienic, or the cat toilet is placed in an improper location or is dirty, it will cause the cat's urinary organs to be infected or the cat has to hold its urine frequently, which may cause bladder inflammation and even urinary system diseases such as urinary stones. Therefore, in order to prevent cats from developing urinary system diseases, cat owners need to pay attention to keeping the cat's living environment clean and the cat toilet clean and hygienic. They also need to place the cat toilet in a relatively secluded and safe place at home, and away from the cat's eating, resting and sleeping place, so that the cat can feel more at ease when going to the toilet.

2. Give your cat proper nutrition. To treat a cat's urinary system problems, doctors usually use anti-inflammatory drugs, injections or other therapeutic drugs. The treatment process will more or less damage the cat's liver and kidney functions, and the continuous intake of anti-inflammatory drug ingredients will also have a certain impact on the cat's appetite.
