Reasons why cats don’t sleep and run around at night:

1. Cats eat and drink enough and sleep during the day. They are full of energy at night and consume energy by walking around.

2. It is possible that the cat lacks a sense of security in the new environment and is too vigilant.

3. It is the nature of cats to hunt at night. Cats will check everywhere for foreign invaders at night.

4. When a cat reaches estrus, it will scream day and night. If the cry is not sharp, it may be sick and in pain.

5. There may be a strange smell in the house, and the cat will run around to release the smell and reoccupy the territory.

6. If the owner does not deworm the cat for a long time, the cat will be itchy and unable to sleep due to fleas and will run around everywhere.

7. Cats may also feel uncomfortable and run around at home instead of sleeping because of hypersensitive skin syndrome.

8. Recently, when the owner took the cat to get an injection, bath, or have its nails trimmed, the cat was frightened and had a stress reaction by not sleeping and running around.

If your cat does not sleep and runs around at night, the owner should pay attention to:

1. Before going to bed, the owner should prepare everything the cat needs.

2. If the owner is at home during the day, he should play with the cat more to reduce the cat's daytime sleeping time. If no one is at home, prepare more toys for it.

3. If conditions permit, you can raise a few more cats so that they can play with each other and distract each other's attention.

4. The owner can prepare a midnight snack for the cat. When the cat is full, it may want to sleep instead of running around.

5. After your cat has been sterilized, the phenomenon of it howling and running around in the middle of the night will be reduced.

6. The owner can put the cat in another room or cage, prepare the necessities for the cat, and let the cat play on its own.

7. The owner should pay more attention to the cat's health and take the cat to the hospital for treatment in time if there is any problem.
