It is normal for cats to eat grass. Even in the wild, cats will occasionally eat various grasses. Things to note when cats eat grass:

1. Not all grasses can be eaten. Among ornamental plants, many are harmful to cats, such as ivy, mistletoe, daffodils, evergreens, and amaryllis. These plants will cause some degree of harm if eaten by cats.

2. Make sure the grass your cat eats does not contain pesticides or other contamination. If your cat accidentally eats grass that has pesticides on it, it will cause adverse reactions, and in severe cases, it may cause poisoning and death.
