For general commercial fish farming, a water depth of about 2 meters is appropriate, and a water depth of 5 meters is actually not useful in many cases. Silver carp and bighead carp are top layer fish, usually active from the water surface to a depth of about 1.5 meters. Grass carp and bream are also top layer fish, and only black carp is a bottom layer fish. Therefore, you only need to consider the size of the water surface, and don't worry too much about the water depth. Generally, there are about 300-400 silver carp per mu, about one-tenth of silver carp, about 100 grass carp per mu, no more than 10 black carp, about 30-50 bream, and about 300 crucian carp. |
