1. How to arrange the breeding environment of Chinese wolf spider?

Wooden box breeding: Suitable for Chinese wolf spiders, the height of the wooden box should be about 1 meter. The wooden board only needs to be smooth on the outside, and the inside can be rough to facilitate the Chinese wolf spider to crawl. There is a valve at the bottom of each side of the box to facilitate operation inside the box. The top and four sides of the box are surrounded by nylon mesh to allow ventilation and light.

The box can be arranged to simulate natural living conditions, which is convenient for setting nets, living and hunting. You can put a culture dish filled with water (use cotton balls to store water without drowning the Chinese wolf spider) and another dish filled with artificial feed.

2. Why do we raise spiders and put soil in them?

Ensure humidity, as spiders do not like dryness.

Spread sterile coconut soil in the box. The coconut soil does not need to be spread too thick, just the thickness of a small fingernail is enough, remember to compact the coconut soil. Ensure the humidity of the coconut soil. If the coconut soil is dry, drop a little water in it to ensure that the humidity is 50%~70%.

After the spider arrives at your home, move it quickly and place it in a dark place. Avoid the sun, as spiders don't like the sun. The sun will burn them or even kill them. Once placed, leave it alone. Check on it after 3-5 days and then feed it.
