CATDOLL : CATDOLL: The difference between earthworms and cockroaches

The earthworm is large, and the female adult has no wings, while the female adult of the cockroach has wings. This is the biggest difference

Cockroach: Flat body, dark brown, usually medium size. Small, mobile head. Long filamentous antennae, well-developed compound eyes. Flat wings, leathery forewings and membranous hindwings, front and back wings are basically the same size, covering the back of the abdomen; some species are wingless. Not good at flying, but can run fast. Incomplete metamorphosis. Lay eggs in egg sheaths. There are about 6,000 species (some say more than 2,250 species), mainly distributed in tropical and subtropical areas. Live in the wild or indoors.

Earth beetle: An important medicinal insect, Earth beetle lives in dark, moist, humus-rich loose soil. It is afraid of sunlight, hides during the day and is active at night. The optimum growth temperature is 28-30℃. Temperatures below 0℃ or above 38℃ will cause mass death of adults and nymphs. It will stop being active and enter a dormant period when the temperature drops to 8℃.
