Snails have a lot of mucus, which often makes people hate them, so special attention should be paid before using them. The general method of slaughtering snails is: first put the snails in a cool place, fast for 1-2 days, spray water to prevent them from drying out, so that the snails can excrete the spoils. According to the needs of processing and cooking, choose snails of different weights. Generally, snails weighing 25 grams are suitable for soups; those weighing 30-40 grams are suitable for stir-frying; and those weighing 50-60 grams are suitable for baking or frying. Wash the rested snails in clean water, and directly immerse them in 12% salt water. Add a cup of vinegar to the salt water, soak for about half an hour, and stir slowly to make impurities and mucus float on the water surface, then take out the snails and rinse them in clean water, and then boil them in boiling water for 20 minutes, rinse them again with clean water, and after cooling, pick out the snail meat and remove the internal organs. Another method is to break the shell and take out the meat, then wash off the mucus with low-concentration alum water, then rub the mucus with vinegar or peanut oil, boil it in boiling water for 4-6 minutes, remove the internal organs after cooling, and then cook it.

I used to catch snails and keep them in a suitable small box with some moist soil (I personally think it is not good because I can't find the snails often)

Later I realized that I could put some shallow water and put some rocks in it.

I think I prefer green plants, especially young shoots and juicy ones. I have a big appetite, so I prepare more.

In spring, the seasonal vegetables are probably cabbage, greens, and lettuce. In summer, I prefer to feed him sugar cane. Other fruits are also OK. To be honest, there is no particular requirement. Just don't feed him onions, ginger, garlic, or anything with a strange smell.
