  • Provide clean drinking water: Make sure pigs have plenty of clean drinking water
  • Adjust diet: Provide pigs with easily digestible, nutritious feed, avoid over-nutrition or over-nutrition
  • Use medication: Use appropriate antibiotics, anti-inflammatory drugs and other drugs according to the veterinarian's advice
  • Increase stocking density: Appropriately increase the stocking density of pigs to reduce stress

Prevention of gastroenteritis

In addition to treatment, prevention is key. Here are some steps to prevent gastroenteritis:

  • Keep the breeding environment clean: clean and disinfect the pig house regularly to ensure that drinking water and feed are free of contamination
  • Reasonable feeding: Feed the pigs reasonably according to their needs, avoiding overfeeding or unbalanced diet
  • Regular vaccination: Vaccinate your pigs regularly according to your veterinarian's advice
